"Parcels Post" theme. One of my favorite exaggeration sets. The two which are used are dated in the fall of 1914. I believe this is the full set. They also come with various town names added toward the top.

I hate to break that bad news to several posters here...your postcards of oversized veggies, etc all appear to be hand painted rather than honest-to-God real photographs. I submit three real photo postcards to show what actually was factual. Remember that Photoshop wasn't released until the 1970's. The cards I show are from the 1910s so they must be true images of crops actually grown back then

I remember watermelons like that back when I was a wee lad. We had to roll them all the way home and they took forever to eat!
