I forgot to add, aniline can also be blue.

It is a fugitive ink and wasa also used as extra security for the prevention of re-use, when the ink is immersed into water it would spread staining the stamp, a bane to any collector who collects stamps still on paper.

The development of the King George V Letterpress.
Extraordinary measurement requirement, not seen before.

1913 The Australian Note Printer sent proofs to London, with certain requirements, for the preparation of dies and plates of the Georgian.

"The size of the stamp, i.e, middle of perforation, will be 1.1/8 x 15/16 inches"
To comply with the comb perforator perhaps

Suggestion:
Trading stamps overseas.
Using the Australian "Tough Bag" Small 261mm x 369mm $1.50
The bag, will not fit through the Australia Post Cardboard Template.

By bending the bottom edge up by about 30 mm and taping with transparent parcel tape, it will fit through the slot.

By doing this, your article goes as a letter (printed matter only)
and not a "Parcel"
Letter rate $13.50 Parcel c$21

PS: doing this, you forego tracking.
