Hello, I am a new collector and need some help. I collect "small" stamps such as the US 1734 Indianhead stamp. I believe there is at least one other and maybe two other "experimental" stamps that were issued about the same time in the US. But I cannot find them in my book. Can anyone help me identify them? Thank you!

I don't have any examples at hand, but I believe the stamps in the 1978 Capex souvenir sheet (Sc. 1757), the 1980 Windmills booklet pane (Sc. 1738), the 1981 Wildlife booklet pane (Sc. 1880), and the 1981 Bighorn sheep booklet pane (Sc. 1949) also are smaller in size than regular definitives.

You could add the booklet C & D rate change stamps to the list. Scott 1948 & 2113.

Hi Guys! I have one question about the windmills booklet. Is the gum bright or dull? I can see if what I have have been washed...

Also have the same doubt with the flowers (Red Masterpiece and Medallion Roses)

thanks
Sergio

The Windmill pane Sc. 1742b (without tab) would have dull gum.
The pair of sheep is from a booklet pane Sc. 1949a, dull gum.

I think the Cape Hatteras block of 4 2cent stamps would also qualify.

I had to go and check, but the Cape Hatteras 2c are the standard definitive size, not the smaller size under discussion here.
