The cancel is from Rodalben. I googled "Rodalben stempel" and found a somewhat similar cancel from 1962. So, there must be a shoe manufacturing history in this little town. Yes, I wish this one were on piece with the complete postmark. |

I have a version of this, though I'm too lazy to wake up my scanner... It's from W. Germany, 1973, from the "Prevent Accidents" series. Other stamps included a safety helmet and frayed electrical wire.  |
