Republic of Korea (South Korea) 23rd March 1973 and 23rd March 2000 Centenary of International Meteorological Organisation and 50th Anniv of World Met Org N.B. According to the WMO web-site, the WMO - established in 1950 - originated from the IMO which was founded in 1873.
