Densely forested hills surround the Edersee, which lies almost exactly in the center of Germany. The region was declared a national park and added to the UNESCO list of world nature heritage sites in 2011.   The castle Waldeck overlooks the lake from the north. |

Georgia Visit Georgia October 27, 2013 Kolkheti National Park lies on a coastal plain on the Black Sea in western Georgia. The swamps and wetland forests of the park contain a wide variety of species. Some of the birds endemic to the park include Black Stork, Crane and Great White Egret.  |
