Fortresses & Castles

When I first came upon this card, I figured it was a fantasy image. Not so much.

Der Hohentwiel im Jahre 1800

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hohentwiel ... the mountain & the fortress

https://www.festungsruine-hohentwiel.de/en/home/ ... the fortress ruins

http://www.bodensee.eu/en/what-to-e...twiel_poi525 ... more about the fortress ruins

https://www.hohentwiel.com/en-us/fa.../h?fen.aspx# ... an inland cruise ship that bears the name

http://goscf.com/t/8286 ... a related post, but in a poorly-named thread in the wrong forum

Q/ Any more out there?

Cheers,

/s/ ikeyPikey

Ikey, impressive! I grew up around and worked in castles as a young man so they speak to me as it were. One small item though, could you edit your post so it shows cards as the subjects, rather than stamps?
