I do not normally bother too much with so called "destination" covers but when this popped up on
eBay last week for a couple of dollars I thought it was worth a go. Much to my surprise there was only one other bid on it.
It is addressed to Sark in the Channel Islands which had a war time population of only 470 plus the Germans. Sark was liberated on 10th May 1945 three weeks before this letter was posted in Halifax. Unfortunately there are no arrival markings.

I suspect it is going to be very hard to find a more unusual destination than this one.
