Since the weather is warming up and many of us are still "sheltering in place" indoors, I thought it would be neat to start a photo thread where people can share photos of envelopes and packages they have received where the majority of such envelope/package was covered in stamps. Have you ever received an package/envelope where every square inch was affixed with stamps, except for the address and tracking label? I wish I received more such mailings.

Now I wish I saved the 9"x12" envelope I got which was covered front and back with nothing but 1 cent Horace Mann's from the 1940 Famous American series... But they were not layered like yours, Rod. You have density! Here is what I can offer. Something of a philatelic cornucopia isn't it? It came in Saturday's mail, so it arrived one delivery day before the expected priority mail delivery date, proving that old stamps work just fine, thank you. I would draw your attention to the checkerboard of black and red 7 cent stamps at the left, including the 1932 Washington Bicentennial issue. The use of the flap of the envelope was also an interesting touch as it covered a number of denominations and apparently had to be displayed open at least at the postal window before being sealed with scotch tape. The verso, however, is unadorned, so I cannot pretend to contend for the title of most covered cover. - Jonathan |

Nor l, I also have a Cardboard box, about 3 foot x 2 foot, that has, if I recall, 7 Canadian souvenir sheets, including the full Blue Whale sheet. It came on a parcel from Canada and 7Kg of black "Open Top" stamp mounts |

Order a lot of stuff from Brooklyn Gallery. All six sides of the box are wallpapered. I have no pictures. |

rod222 and jleb1979: What neat envelopes!! Where is the mailing address on those envelopes? If you edited it out, I completely understand why, but I'm curious, where it was, if edited out. |

I didn't know that applying one stamp on top of another stamp, so long as the country and denomination are showing, is permitted. Sure saves space and allows philatelists to show off more stamps. |

A relevant piece that was also a victim of the marker monkey, despite having a clean CDS on every stamp. |

My address as recipient was immediately above the "visit us at USPS.com" but below the "L" shaped delimiter. I taped a piece of white paper over it before scanning and it blended in well as white space. The sender's return address was to the left and up from my address. I obliterated it with purple sharpie. The sender clearly did not want the package coming back cause it was tiny and utterly illegible. - J |

This was from a dealer with whom I have done occasional business. The contents I expected, but the lavish envelope not. Below is most of one side of a box that measured about 24 inches x 12 inches which was pretty well covered on this one side except for the certified mail paperwork and my address which I cut out when I was breaking it down for recycling. Package from another dealer. Not as excessive as the Brooklyn Gallery packages Rogdcam described, but still amusing. There was a fair amount of weight in this box and as you can see, the sheets and stamps took some punishment. |

I posted this item in another thread a few years ago with a different subject. Perhaps I should show it again here when it might be easier to find. The carton is a "standard" USPS mailing container with three sides. The contents were several large rolled-up documents. Side 1: Side 2: Side 3: I never had the energy (or patience) to count the number of stamps present or computed the the total postage present. Unfortunately, none of the stamps were cancelled at the sending post office. |

Single box but I was not willing to try to store the entire box so I cut it up. I have no idea why I even kept these, I will hold them until they hit my 'if I have not touched it in two years then it gets tossed' rule. Don |
