Post Card

Back of Card

The imprint based on the booklet stamp was printed by offset litho

Not bad but compare it to the engraved stamp Sweden Scott 1085 engraved
by Slania.

I found this one from Württemberg interesting. Revalued postcards aren't uncommon, but usually the new rate is just overprinted. In this case a new "stamp" was printed and the old one was marked out. Can anyone translate the back? I think it is a package notification.

Several nice pieces arrived yesterday, including one fully engraved postal card from Salvador and an early Argentine cover (1888, I think).

Here's a postal card that brought up a lot of questions for me. First: What is Nizam's Dominions? What does the overprint indicate? And why the strike-through lines -- or was that a way to precancel the card for use by the Indian Posts & Telegraphs Department?

Sorry, I've been busy and haven't been here for a while. Yes, it is a package notification, and I can translate it:
