Bosnia and Herzegovina (Serbia) 2012 European Nature Protection Pješcane pyramids are located near the town of Foca. They are striated sandstone pillars tapering towards the top. The pillars are getting taller, as erosion continues to remove softer clay material from the base of the formation.  |
