Jim Drummond illustrated an example of this facsimile label in this thread:

I recently picked up a collection of what was described as "weird stuff".

In this batch I found examples of this facsimile (and a facsimile of a facsimile?)

In addition to the minor differences including the words NEW YORK in larger type on the Eacles example, the eagles nest appears to be different.

Also, the Eacles printing is nice and sharp, with a smooth feel to the printing (lithographed?)

The Eagles example is much more rough and broken up with an engraved feel to the printing.

There were 2 examples of each and 3 of the four have red threads on the paper. I don't believe they were part of the printing as they are laying on top of the paper and not embedded.

Both are similar to the Lanman & Kemp private die perfume stamps, RT16-RT18.

I think the vignette is a phoenix, rising from the flames.
