Hi - I'm loving AlbumEasy, but it seems to have a fatal flaw for my intended use.

I'm trying to create an album with scans of my stamps to use as a digital stamp album. I've noticed that the sizes of images in the PDF comes out much larger than the scan image print size, even when stretch is set to false. Here is a demonstration using one of the sample images that came with AlbumEasy:

As you can see, the image expands to a size on the PDF much larger than its print size, when I would expect that the image would reach its print size and then grow no larger as the box around it grows. It seems the size of the image on the PDF is governed by its pixel resolution rather than its print size metadata? This issue is preventing me from using AlbumEasy for my albums - is there a workaround or fix?

I notice ALBUM_STAMP_NEW_IMG_SETTING is underlined in red, and is an incorrect spelling of the function ALBUM_STAMP_IMG_NEW_SETTING. I haven't used the function, but maybe just correcting the name will fix the issue?

When adding graphics to a PDF file, the default unit of measure is a point, which is 1/72 of an inch or 0.35277mm.

Images are in pixels, so, for example, if you pass in an image of 100 pixels wide by 200 tall, it is actually 35.3 x 70.6mm.
So in your case, the images are actually bigger than the boxes and are being shrunk down to the size of the box, less the horizontal and vertical spacing specified by the
ALBUM_STAMP_IMG_NEW_SETTING command.

The size of the printed image is governed by the size of the box, except in the case where the image is smaller than the box, in which case it is printed actual size, or, if stretch is set to true it is scaled up to fit the box.

If that doesn't work for you, please contact me offline, either via a message on this site or using the contact form on the AlbumEasy website, and I can try to come up with a solution.

The ALBUM_STAMP_NEW_IMG_SETTING and ALBUM_STAMP_IMG_NEW_SETTING commands are functionally identical, but the second version of the name is more consistent with other commands.
Not wanting to remove the first version, as it would affect existing albums, I marked it obsolete instead.
