Belgium King Wax Seal (Cabinet Du Roi)

Hi I would like to some opinion about a rare belguim royal stamp
ps : rare cause I didnt find something similar online

It is a closing seal for letters despatched by the 'cabinet du roi' that assists the King in his duties as head of state. I doubt it is very rare.

1) the spelling needs to be fixed to "Belgium," or this will never appear in forum searches, and 2) what you are showing is a wax seal, not a philatelic or fiscal stamp, so a little outside what this forum normally covers.
All I can offer is that it was used to seal an envelope from the King's Cabinet (https://www.monarchie. be/en/monarchy/royal-household/kings-cabinet), but that is obvious.

This is a stamp forum. Wax seals are not stamps. They did not have much to do with the post but more with the sender. At best, you can compare it to seals in the 'cinderella' forum. It had the same use as back seals shown there. But it has little to do with adhesive labels.

It is a nice piece, but since it is not on the original cover, it is nothing more than a wax seal that may have been used a few times a day on letters to ministers, diplomatic envoys, and maybe to people petitioning the King.
