Tasmania 1902 stamp 2d. Would this water mark be considered side ways and the "A" in the watermark inverted. Will appreciate your opinions and comments. Thank you.

Yes, the watermark is sideways, which is the normal watermark. There is no "A" in the watermark. It is a "V" and the crown is over the "V."

A perfectly normal stamp, as usual.

"V over Crown," indeed, is what SG calls it.

The paper wasn't designed for stamps the size of the Tasmania pictorials, hence how the watermark falls across the stamp as shown.

Agree totally with what has been said that this stamp does have the V over Crown watermark. However, some later printings of this stamp had the Crown over double lined A watermark.
