Just a couple of my photo postcards regarding Hawaii aviation.
Inter-Island Airways Sikorsky 38
Early flights to Kailua-Kona on the Big Island in the bay and an outrigger canoe took passengers ashore.

Pan Am
Beginning July 1, 1950, all Pan Am Boeing B-377 Stratocruiser flights west of Honolulu and all B-377 night flights between Honolulu and the West Coast were upgraded to be Sleeperette equipped.

Below for reference only on Sleeperette.

Hawaiian Airlines DC 3

Another image of Hawaiian Airlines over Lahaina, Maui. Circa 1963.
Hawaiian Airlines Super Convair
In the first of many fleet upgrades, Hawaiian Airlines introduced the Convair 340 in the early 1950's. Unlike the DC-3, it was pressurized and air conditioned.
