On this undivided back postcard with an RPPC stereo picture, the men on the ship appear to be in uniform. Translated from French to English, the card says Stereo " The Marvelous" patented by E.L.D. Paris. Does anyone recognize the navy? Also, any other thoughts or information would be appreciated.

Most likely a ship from French Navy.

"Le Merveilleux" was not the name of the ship,but the name of the stereoscope used to view the cards.
E.L.D stands for Ernest Le Deley

Most likely a French torpedo boat. Port of Algiers, French flag at stern.

Yeah, torpilleur. Which class I've no idea. Takes bloomin' ages to identify old ships.

@vayolene Thank you for the link to the information on stereoscopic postcards. I didn't know about the cards. It was useful and educational, and has encouraged me to revisit my stereoscopic card collection to see if there are any postcards.
