Hi,

I found these Canada Post / Postes Canada mint packets in a collection:

1964-66 Floral Emblems
1966 Commemoratives
1966-69 Christmas Noel
1970 Christmas Noel
1972 Commemoratives
1973 Commemoratives

Looks like the stamps inside have a relatively small value but is there some premium for the sealed packet?

I have the regular Scott Int'l Catalog set which doesn't have the various Revenues and things like this in it. Anyone with a Specialized Canada Catalog can help? Thanks in advance.

Actually, these unsealed packages do command a premium. They can range from $10 to $25 depending on the stamps included and the type of packaging.

Must be unsealed though.

Good luck actually getting a premium in the real world. I have separated the stamps from these packages by the hundreds because the bulk lots I purchased were loaded with them and I needed space. There is the real world and the "Valued at" world.

Thanks for the info. I don't have that catalog.

Do you mean the 1973 set isn't listed in the catalog?

Davemamer, I am looking at what is shown in your photos. How about showing a picture of the 1973 set?

Rats. You are right Trodent. These need to be sealed to command a premium. I know several collectors who will pay a premium for these items.

Sorry about that.

I see I just wrote it wrong.
--Topics in this forum cannot be edited after 1 day.--

Where I wrote the 1973, it is the 1971 set. (the blurry one), you can see 1971 on the rear text of it.

Sure, studytamps I would be happy to sell them. refer over and lets make arrangements.
I collect Canada, but I mainly just have interest in pre-1900
