Does anyone know where the next one will be?

San Francisco, 2036 is what I've heard.

There had been some talk of trying to do one in 5 years instead of 10. Has that died?

I think I could attend in five years as a useful goal; ten years is quite likely past my sell by date. Pacific '97 was a great San Francisco show, and I would expect another left coast show would be great even if I my album was closed.

NOTE: For my following posts of competition lists, I cannot find where a simple source of the FIP, APS or any other overall winners. I do not use Meta products and thus I can't dig down in the Facebook posts to find actual names of winners. That seems to be the only spot the currently can be found. I welcome help on this.

Exhibit awards: https://fepanews.com/wp-content/upl...-results.pdf

[Edit for suggestion: To find the top awards, do a ctrl-f (search) for LG (large gold) in the pdf]

Will post literature awards when found. My mistake, the literature is listed in the posted pdf.

IMO- as good as some of these were, there were at least two other exhibits which were better, one by Gordon Eubanks and one by Dan Ryterband.

As someone new to exhibiting competition, I was wondering if someone can explain why some of exhibits are labeled "withdrawn"??

Is it an issue with the material, quality?, forgeries,? Poor inaccuracies in descriptions or something else?

I expect that "Withdrawn" signifies that the entries were not received by the organisers.

Stamp entries from exhibitors in Mongolia and SPM were totally absent, signifying that the commissioners probably could not make the show. Other odd entries that are missing across other countries is probably due to a personal difficulty experienced by the individual exhibitor, such as poor health or family issues preventing submission of the entry in time. Thank you for answering
Makes sense.
Traveling and moving this material would seem to be a major issue.
