Feigenbaum/Format/Questa And Other Bogus Stamps

Hi folks, new member here... I collected stamps from around 8-14 years old, starting out with anything I could get my hands on and focusing over time on revenues and precancels from Canada and the US. Eventually, I lost interest and moved on to other things (records and tapes, hence the username) and the stamp collection got boxed up and put away. It's been more than ten years since then without even a glance at them, so I decided to pull them back out, sell those that are of value and pass on the rest to new collectors that I know.

In the process of doing all that I've been spending a lot of time going through them and remembering how much fun it is to look at stamps. In particular, it was cool to see the many large topical stamps that I collected heavily for a while. Searching up some of the country names on Google led me to going down the rabbit hole reading about Clive Feigenbaum, Format Security Printers, and a bunch of other names responsible for making stamps in the names of nonexistent countries or without permission from the countries named. All I can say is wow - I had no idea there was so much controversy and treachery in the philatelic world! So much for it being a nice peaceful hobby. The sheer volume of this material that exists is staggering, and the legal wranglings behind it are seemingly endless.

I would imagine that many collectors don't look kindly on these issues, but personally I found the stamps even more interesting after I learned the story behind them. I wondered if any of you have this sort of stuff in your collections or if you have stories of them from the era when they proliferated. I'd be curious to see or read them if you do!

Attached photo of a few I have left (I already sold most of them in a junk lot, but I keep opening albums and finding more). As far as I know, three of these are Mr. Feigenbaum's work, not sure about the Thormond stamp but I know it's no more valid than they are.
