Thank you, Rohumpy.
And thanks for refering to the pennies, so many U.S. collectors refer to our pennies as large cents.
There have been a few members here that are in both forums, but not many.

I don't collect coins but, I do collect CSA currency. Does that count?

There is a saying here in the southern states in the US--"Save your confederate money, the south will rise again."

After seeing the prices for some of the Confederate currency, I think the South has "risen" again.

rohumpy,

I scanned a few of my CSA notes and put them on photobucket;

I'll post the rest in a few days, including the fractional currency notes.

I found an excellent way to answer a potential buyers request to see what I have for sale, let's say by specific country....I develope a free blogger blog....by country, and as I add stamps to my inventory, I also add it to the blog......if they subscribe to my blog, they are notified when I add to it....and it's free.
Best thing about picasa....you can add directly from there to blogger.....

hope this helps

David

here's an example of an earlier Canada blog...if you click on the image, it enlarges it and if you click on the enlargement...it enlarges that.
If you need any help, get back to me and I'll talk you thru it.....

A little while ago, an SCF member recommended a FREE pdf viewer,
It was a doozy.
I have lost the *.exe file
If you are reading this, please make the suggestion again

Why don't developers name their exe files better?

I have a dopdf.exe, not sure if that is the one.

Solved Foxit Reader.
Thanks

For those of you interested in FREE PC software, check out the Liberkey website

http://www.liberkey.com/en/catalog/browse.html

This is a set of packages that can reside on your 4 GB thumbdrive, or on your computer. Nice, easy to use, lots of options. Load only what you want.

Comes with a PDF Viewer known as PDF-Xchange Viewer. You can probably google this and download yourself, but Liberkey offers a better interface.

Everything is virus free, and I've been using it for years.

My solution is to get yourself a facebook account and load up albums of stamps on their super fast servers, all for free!

You can have as many images / albums as you want, and always available wherever you are.

Works for me.

Regards,

Rod

I put mine on my iPhone in a separate photo gallery. If you already have one there is no need to buy any other expensive device, unless of course you want to display whole pages and not just individual stamps.

1.FastStone Image viewer and Resizer
2.Picasa
3. window Photo Galary

all will work fine again ipad is good but you will have drive size constrain, so for you might have to resort to external storage depending on total size of GB requirement. though I have not tried ipad as scanner pictures have taken.
@ rod I like your naming system

Hey guys Newby Stamper here and I'd like to thank yall for the informative thread. I was tinkering on how to store and take out my stamps for viewing. I think this will make it a lot more effortlessly. You stamp gurus on here are by far the best. The vast amount of information yall have here is better than any club I have been to. It's fast, friendly and very informative. Thank you SCF and all the stamp gurus in the club. Yall rock!!

I suppose a BB Tablet (playbook) with 64 Gbyte storage woud do to (about 200$ CDN) recently. Much cheaper than Ipad and works with my BBerry, so surfing is safe, and I can carry with me anywhere I go.
