Scott only lists a small fraction of the stamp issues from Ajman and its dependencies. The "reasoning" is that most of those issues were never intended for actual postal use. Scott used to summarize many of those issues in an abbreviated listing (no Scott catalog number assigned) in a section at the back of the catalog called "For the Record". Sometime during the early 1990s (or late 1980s, I forgot), Scott removed the For the Record section, moving some of the listings into the country listings. However, the For the Record listings for most of the Middle East (e.g., Ajman, Dubai, Fujeira...) were completely removed and the country listings never updated.

For these stamps, you will have to refer to SG, Michel... If I remember correctly, Minkus used to have a catalog listing for the "Trucial States".

thanks guys I was not sure if I was missing a country name change over the years, or the country on the stamp but being listed in another country section, my albums are of multiple copyrights so some country names change depending on the volume I'm working on which get me confused.

I'll look into those sites.
