On September 17, 2010, Austria issued another embroidered stamp Petit Point. Following previous year's issues of edelweiss, this time the format is a little different; it doesn't have the embroidery edge mimic stamp perforation, and is largely paper print (with embroidered flower in the center of image/souvenir sheet). What's shown here is an example of FDC, conveniently canceled on the paper portion. Personally I prefer the entire sheet made of embroidered stamp, even better comes with full sheet like Switzerland's first embroidery stamp in year 2000. Nevertheless, I still like Austria (and Switzerland)'s innovation stamp printing techniques. There should be a topical dedicated to this. What would it be called? Embroidered stamps? 3-D stamps? not to confuse with 3D holograms
