KGVCollector:

I assume you have seen this:

I'm always a day late and a dollar short, so I just saw it as I was reading the October issue of American Philatelist. It was interesting to me that this is a "new" catalogue (as in 1st Edition) for them.

There were several other new S-G publications in AP, including a couple other 1st editions.

I have a 2007 SG 1840-1952 catalogue and there is not muc information I can't get out of that. I don't have much interest in stamps after 1952 really.

Hi Kirk,

I got a copy of this on special offer from the SG stand at the London 2010 exhibition. It's very nicely produced in hardback and includes the current Part 1 listings for the KGV period, reprinted SG Stamp Monthly articles on the KGV Silver Jubilee issue and scans of all the KGV listings from a 1937 Part 1 catalogue.

I haven't seen the actual book itself -- just a review in American Philatelist. But it looks as if nigelc is impressed with it.

Either way, for new collectors or folks who don't already have a reference, it might be worth a look.
