Yesterday while I was at a stamp show, I got my 2011 edition of the Unitrade Canadian Specialized Catalogue and I am now offering my old 2010 edition for trade.
The retail price for it last year was $42.95. I would like to let it go for $25.00 plus postage, which will be close to $15.00.This is a large catalogue and it has 639 pages and it is thick and heavy <G> So, what I am proposing is either one of the 2 suggestions:
I would sell for $40.00 cash which will include postage or trade for $80.00 catalogue value (not cash value) for stamps of either Canada, Belgium, Germany or US airmails, mint or used or both or mixed countries from my collecting interests, as listed here, which will also include the postage.
I can safely say that about 95% of the 2010 prices are the same for 2011. The catalogue itself is almost like new.
If anyone is interested in this catalogue, would they please email me at muskokapost@gmail.com
What I forgot to mention in my last posting about this catalogue, for those of you who are not familiar with it, is the fact that they also use the Scott numbering system for Canadian stamps.
That was probably a good deal but what I am including in trade with no cash involved is postage overseas. The catalogue weighs in just under 6 pounds. Since you are also from Canada, I am sure that you are aware of postage costs for overseas packages. I cannot see it worthwhile for me to include free postage overseas but if interested parties are domestic, then certainly, offers are always welcome.
This is also why I gave my email address so that interested parties can contact me and we can dicker over this.
I just saw a posting from Ian Kimmerly offering the same catalogue for $20.00 (+ postage)
In all fairness, I can offer it at the same price too + postage and again can make arrangements for any parties interested and willing to trade instead of selling, either way is ok.
