I have a collection of Luggage labels (Casablanca Hotel etc)
they are not stamps, but close cousins,
not dared to start a thread on these though

1. Spending more time on the SCF forum than you do watching TV
2. Spending less time playing with your kids than with your stamps
3. Spending less time with your wife than with your stamp

You may be a stamp collector if you:

1. Apply for a considerable bank loan just to buy "rare" stamps.

2. Then, you get in real tight money becuz of the gigantic Monthly loan installments for which you end up with no enough money even to supply your fridge!

3. Then, you keep struggling longer & try to sell many stuff in your house just to cover other personal debts becuz of the loan installments.

4. Then, you keep working double shifts just to cover your house rent.

5. Eventually, you give up & try to find a buyer for your "rare" stamps but could not becuz items were sold way over-priced!

6. Two options you have: keep the stamp albums with you to go through them while you're in jail, or sell them off at way inferior price to settle more debts and then >>>>

i will break it down simply ..working with stamps is something I know will make me feel GOOD !
