How about when you create a "thin"
not good, not good....

You might be a stamp collector if when you buy a packet of nuts you examine the package with pictures of stamps and postmarks on before you touch the nuts.

..and you certainly are a stamp collector,
if you keep the packet,
and throw away the nuts.

You might be a stamp collector if you order a Chinese when you dont particularly want one, because you've ran out of plastic cartons to store stamps in...actually did this last night

I think I might be a stamp collector because I find more stamps when

- I sweep the floor
- Put my hand between couch cushions
- Open a magazine or book (where I would've left them for flattening)

When my infant crawls into corners and nooks and finds stamps to chew on

You may be a stamp collector if....

a student tells you he got a DWI (driving while intoxicated)

...and you think Danish West Indies

You may be a stamp collector if....

.... knowing your stamp collection is why you passed your history exam

You may be a stamp Collector if, when you go to a second hand market,you buy 2 nice Cigar boxes [Bolivian and Dutch] and 2 lovely Object Register boxes just to store your stamp stuff in !

Boy does that one ring true!

I was talking with a fellow stamp collector who met a man at a business event and asked "Do I detect a hint of a Ukrainian accent?"

The man was taken aback: "Yes, I was born in the Ukraine, but I thought I had a perfect American accent now!"

The first man said "No, I'm just winding you up: I saw you have a trident pendant around your neck."

The Ukrainian man said "Oh, good. I thought I didn't pay enough attention to my language tapes. But how in the world did you know that trident is a Ukrainian symbol?"

"I collect stamps," came the reply.

when I worked at the bank I was told I was too surly to wait on the public !!

You may be a "world wide" collector if you
misplace stamps.

I put mine alphabetically in albums till they warrant
an album of their own as a dedicated country.

I have completely lost my entire Hungarian Collection
...and it's driving me nuts.

OK, I have a Hungarian collection for sale, if anyone is interested. LOL
