Last week I was at a stamp expo and someone was selling counterfeit stamps. Booklets of the new P stamps (Permanent). So far that's not so disturbing. What really got me to question myself was the price he was selling them. A booklet of 10 was selling for around 75$. Why the H*** would I pay 75$ for counterfeit stamps? Once again, is there something I don't know? Are those booklets being sold at high prices to collectors to make sure no one is gonna use them to send letters?

Today there was an article relating the fact that counterfeit stamps where being sold specially in Ontario and Québec. Obviously CP is not happy and loosing a lot of money. Funny thing is that when a letter is sent with a fake stamp, CP still delivers it, even tough they know it's a fake.
