Kenya Airways Airmail Label

There was a topic recently on "airmail etiquettes" of which I assume this is one. I haven't seen it with the "Kenya Airways" logo and name on it before, though. Are these a form of advertising the airlines use on mail they receive for transport?

Not sure if these are airmail etiquettes or country postage of some sort, but just found them amongst some stamps to soak off paper:

The second one is an airmail label from Australia. At one time you could send airmail letters at a cheaper rate, but they may not get there as quickly if room is limited on the aircraft; they may need to wait for the next flight.

It is an airmail label from Kenya. Below is another. It seems (perhaps someone can confirm?) that airmail labels from Kenya, after independence, carry the "Kenya Airways" name. Kenya Airways is the national airline of Kenya. My wife flew on Kenya Air once, and lived to tell the tale.



I did a search on this site for the word "airmail" in order to find the thread mentioned but gave up when it returned 35 pages of threads.
