I was hoping these were original...reprints I think...

This is one of those reprint sets that are difficult to distinguish from originals without physically examining the stamps.

The originals are on thinner grayish paper, and the colors slightly darker.

The reprints are on thicker whitish paper, and the colors slightly brighter.

It does appear that you have the reprint, but it is hard to be sure base solely on a picture the colors/shades can be off due to the scanner or my monitor.

Original blocks, although not rare, are hard to come by. The great majority of blocks I've seen in general collector hands have been reprints.

Back in the old days, one of the reasons I used to collect genuine postally used early PRC is because they were almost certainly originals. Reprints are almost always mint or CTOs.
