Tefloncinco, please do some research before you sell the Wedgewood booklet. It is not your average booklet. The 1/2 d with the phosphor band running vertically down the left side is a somewhat uncommon stamp. Check the catalogue value of it. The Wedgewood booklet is the only source for that particular stamp.

In your image of the first day cover of the booklet pane, the stamp I am referring to is the last stamp in the second column.

Tefloncinco... I believe the current price for a Wedgewood pane FDC can be as low as 12 - 14 pounds. Condition is everything and yours seems a bit battered. The entire booklet can be had for 10 - 40 pounds depending on condition of course. Single stamps can be worth up to 30 pounds. Perforation condition dictate the price as well as the general look of the stamp. Your Machins need a bit of sorting out as you have decimal and pre-decimal together in the scans! Check ebay for current prices asked.
The 4d vermilion with missing phosphor is probably worth 20 pounds UMM on a good day in my opinion. Used and in not too good condition is anyone's guess. Check out some listings for that stamp should it actually be as described.

This site will show you all you need to know about Machins and Wildings. They illustrate the phosphor banding on each stamp so that you, with your poor eyesight, can readily see them I think.

Let's exclude ebay and take a closer look at Mike Holt , GB stamps really sell for less on the U.S market , I prefer the U.K or the china market ,now you talking market ,stamp dealers are selling their Victoria Penny Black's to the Chinese market Ask yourself why is that? Stanley Gibbons can't meet the demands for Penny Blacks on the Mid Asia markets. It may seem that I'm new to this but I'm not I overcoming my injures and will be back at what I love to do search for rare commodities some where in my lab 'what you see is what I have logged prior to my situation. When I do sell I know my market. Thank you for the feed back and your keen eyes for precise detail on stamps.

looking at.

I heard about one called the "Ice Qe2". are you familiar with this one?... asked TeflonSink

I've looked around and there is no mention of that name anywhere I looked. What you have is a 1999 7p Grey with 2 bands. S.G. number is Y1672. Not worth anything as it is a common stamp and appears stained around the edges from soaking off maybe. Tip for soaking off paper: forget anything but cold water for colored backing and "float" rather than soak whole stamp. If in doubt... cut a small piece of the backing and soak that to see if it stains the water before doing the stamp.
