I won a lot on ebay for 99 cents and it fills a full page of 1960 Cuba in my International album...3 blocks of four like the one illustrated and a set of 3 all mint never hinged..i do not believe the seller was a stamp person as he had diverse things for sale plus stamp lots at 99 cents each !

Well Good Luck Phil,
watermarking is the burr under my saddle in stamp collecting,
I find it irritating in the extreme, esp with travancore.
Still haven't found anything better than fluid.

Good find Philb !
It pays to check out the stamps of sellers like that. It does appear from time to time that bargains can be had from those who sell only a few stamps amongst other stuff.

Nice page Smauggie....now I'm off to see if I have that Flag stamp on the top row !!

Cubanstampissues:

Thanks for the offer and we're glad you're here, but you need to read the Forum Rules

You're not allowed to buy/sell/trade with other members until you have two weeks of membership and 50 quality posts. Its a good rule that has worked well for all of us here. It protects our members (new and old) from a few unscrupulous people who have tried to take advantage of the board or spam it with offers.

Here's the specific rule:

Thanks,
KirkS

Great stamps, philb. Does anyone recognise the tune on the sheet?

The early post-revolution Christmas stamps from Cuba are really interesting.

My thoughts 100%. I wish I could just ignore watermarks, but I can't find it in me (plus it makes a big difference often). But sorting out watermarks is the very worst job I can think of - much worse than seeing if machins are litho or photo!

My worst ever was going through a huge collection of Hong Kong definitives I'd picked up - horrible right up to the 1990's. But at least the stamps themselves are little beauties . . .
