The Scott catalogue description for this semi-postal stamp is "judo," but it sure looks like karate to me! This stamp was printed by lithography, and issued for use in Netherlands Antilles on February 17, 1982, Scott No. B197. - nethryk |

Bujutsu - You're welcome! Here's another one for your list: Judo in "Tokyo, 1964," designed (I surmise) by Belgian artist Oscar Hector Bonnevalle (1920-1993), printed by lithography, and issued by Rwanda on October 24, 1968 as one of a set of six stamps publicizing the 19th Olympic Games in Mexico City, Scott No. 267. Anyway, Ouch! - nethryk |

Thanks nethryk for all of your postings. I also particularly like the added information about designers of the different stamps etc. In my files, I have images for a lot of the stamps, but still a lot I do not have. I was able to add a few that you posted. I have all the countries listed alphabetically, with images, where available. However, I think it is too large to include here. it is a 32 pages long Word file Thanks again. Chimo Bujutsu |
