Thank you too Outremer. These are great images. A number of years ago, while I was still a white belt in Judo, I was given an illegal throw and my arm was pinned so that I could not do a break-fall and had had my left shoulder bone cracked. I am thankful I had greater moments as well <G>. Live and learn as they say.

Bujutsu - Thanks. I'm sure we'll find many more.

Thank you again nethryk

I am wondering if the ATA ever issued a book on our topic?

Hi Bujutsu - Hai! The ATA publishes the following relevant checklists (number of items listed) for its members' use: Martial Arts (misc/other) (57), Judo / Karate (425), and Tae Kwon Do (96) - nethryk

I participated in updating the ATA list quite some time ago.

For a while a good list of Judo specific information was contained at the web site of the United States Judo Association. It may still be there but only open to USJA registered members. Now there is a link on the United States Judo Federation which takes you to http://www.judostamps.org/judostamps/Home.html where stamps, postmarks, coins and telephone cards of Judo subject matter is listed. This seems to my eye to be what was associated with the old USJA listing. It seems to have grown to standalone status. It is a very extensive listing, likely the best you will find. USJF membership is not needed to see the link nor read the link I have posted.

For this subject matter addition I decided to add the information on this spot on thread since the OP is still on the Forum. I will also add this obligatory image to reflect knowledge of my action:

[Note could someone let SCF Member ecmorgan know about this post. He teaches Judo and I lack the required 50 quality posts to allow such communication. Some day, some day.]
