Catalogue blindness? I cannot see any difference in design between Scott D6 (1934) and D8 (1945). Can someone please point out the differences and also give me the Scott no. for my stamp? Thanks in advance.
Tony, The earlier D6 design includes fascist symbols that were removed in the later D8 design. They're not all that clear to my eyes and I find it easier to distinguish the designs by the way the crown and the full cross on the shield both stand out clearly on the D8 design. Your stamp is the D8 design.
