I am using a Scott 2008 edition from my library and looked all through the "France" and "French Guiana" sections but can not find this stamp.

Does anyone know what Volume it is in? I know the stamp is worth next to nothing but I am going through a book and want to ID them prior to giving my collection to my grandson so that he can give it to his (when the entire thing might be worth more than a few bucks.

P.S. I have a lot more but figured I'd start slowly.

Vilmar, WELCOME... don't be shy alot of the guys here can tell you a stamp just by looking at it. its actually quite amazing, I like trying to look them up before them but loose 99% of the time. its good practice.

after a work on a country for a few days I'm usually left with about 6-10 stamp I cant find, they are usually Identified 5 mins after posting.
and I usually spent 30 each on them.

Revstampman: thanks! That was quick!

I guess I'll eventually learn why so many of these types of stamps can be found under "France" either as protectorates or colonies of France but others, like this one, aren't.

It was for that reason I never bothered to check Vol 3.

Edwin: you just described me: looking in what I think is "everywhere" except in my case I left out the obvious: use the index. I can be such a maroon sometimes! :-)
