Bahnpost cover from German-occupied Alsace. Bahnpost cancel is provisional.

The route for train #723 was between Hagenau and Zabern.

Here's another German cover with a provisional Bahnpost cancellation. This one is post-WWII era with 2 very yellow AMG 6 pf. stamps. My scanner reads them as bright orange - another reason to never trust pics that you see on ebay lots.

This train route was between Hannover and Vorsfelde in North Germany (British zone of occupation.)
