Hans Kudlich (1823-1917) was an Austrian political activist, legislator, writer and physician noted for being a leader of the movement to end the feudal policies (known as the "Robot Patent") of the Austrian government which required farmers to provide labor without compensation to the noble landowners. Here is an image of a stamp depicting Kudlich and laboring peasants, designed by Maria Schulz, combined engraved by Robert Trsek and photogravure, and issued by Austria on October 23, 1998 to commemorate the 175th anniversary of Kudlich's birth, Scott No. 1770, plus an image of a lithography portrait of Hans Kudlich by Austrian artist Eduard Kaiser (1820-1895) which was a model for this stamp's design.

Here is an image of a stamp depicting a farmer plowing with oxen, printed by lithography, and issued by Uruguay on April 29, 1949 as one of a set of two stamps publicizing the 4th Americas Regional Conference of Labor, Scott No. 579.

The Azad Hind Stamps are a set of Cinderella stamps designed by German artist Werner von Axster-Heudtlass (1898-1949), and printed by photogravure in 1943 in Nazi Germany for Subhas Chandra Bose's Azad Hind (Indian National Army). Here is an image of a stamp from the set depicting a plow and a farmer plowing with a team of bullocks.
