Unfortunately, I don't own these, but were copied from a website I came across several years ago. I found the period "cartoons" rather humorous even though the subject matter "Great Depression" wasn't:

Its been a while since I posted the Sabor of the Midland cinderella from the same era, and we have lots of new members who have joined since then, so I'll throw in a link to the post, with the stamp and the story, rather than set it out again in this topic.
