On January 17, 2011 Canada Post is issuing five new "O Canada", Canadian Pride stamps. One of the stamps is showing a backpacker in front of a well-known structure in Greece.

This got me to thinking ... how often has Canada included a non-Canadian building/object on a Canadian stamp?

I have my list, but I will give my answer in a couple of days. This will give you a chance to study your stamps for a bit. [There are also non-Canadian people and non-Canadian subjects, but that can be left for another thread.]

I have at least 7 on my list that have an actual structure. If you count foreign lands, then this list can reach at least 13.

By the way, it was a long time ago when Canada first illustrated a non-Canadian building.

Happy hunting!
