Hi all,

So I recently came across a huge collection of stamps from Czechoslovakia dating 1900-1980's. I have no idea what this is worth but there are thousands of stamps and I really don't have time to research all of them on the internet. I did a little bit and found that most of them weren't really worth so much, however a few of them were. Can anybody tell me what I should be looking for? What years could be valuable? Any kind of overprints or misprints that could make them rare? Any websites that might be able to help me? I found a few websites but most of them were just random stamps from random years instead of full collections.

Thanks alot,

Dustin

There could be some interesting & valuable stamps but most Czechoslovakia stamps are modest in price individually, but it would need to be looked over by an expert.
Check for local stamp clubs or go to the public library for stamp catalogue & guide books.

Enjoy!

A tip: search listings on ebay or Delcampe by price - order your results by most expensive first. This way you can usually find out which stamps are the most highly sought after by collectors. If you have thousands of stamps, then you're bound to have something that falls into this class.

Here's just one example: a search of Czechoslovakian stamps on ebay with a price of above $200 revealed that this stamp has a 'Buy It Now' price of $400:

Maybe you've got one too!
