A rather basic postal card for May 22nd. Actually, I'm not sure what the worth of commemorating a self-scouring steel plow was, as it seems a rather odd subject matter for a postal card. Although, I suppose it could be a topical subject for farming tools and equipment:

Edit: Just checking the internet, it seems the self-scouring steel plow was the first invention of John Deere who later came to found the farming and industrial equipment company so well known today.

An hour or so early for May 23rd, but the subject matter is very appropriate. Too bad the promotion for "stamp" collecting was not on a "stamp" but a postal card that only a select few collectors seem to bother with anymore. Still, a nice addition for this date:

It seems that back in the 1980's May was an active month for postal cards and postal stationery items. My submission for May 24th:

I think this cover would be fitting for today.
Stamp was issued on the 50th anniversary of
Woman's Suffrage in Canada.

Barb - it's supposed to be a stylized Maple Leaf and was
used on most FDC during 1967 which was our Centennial Year.
The exceptions were for the Pan Am games & the Royal Visit.

Edit: One more exception was the EXPO'67 issue.

Another for 24May -- this is a pair of US Scott 230 on an 1893 cover from Harrisburg, PA to Middletown, CT. Dr. Rosa was a physicist at Wesleyan University who was fairly well-published.
