Cover Calendar For Month And Day -Pics

I look everyday too.

Yeah! I finally found another regularly used postal item that fits the criteria for the calendar. And I don't think that an Irish Cancel has been posted before either.

Not a high quality stamp or cancel, but interesting in that the publisher had connections to Germany and the back side explains where a lot of our big trees went.

No chocolate, no flowers, bling or fine wine... but SCF has won my affection and gratitude. Happy Valentine's everyone.

If you're interested in who the addressee was on the previously posted cover (David G. Evans & Co.) it was a coffee company in St. Louis.




Based on the above quote the use of the name "David G. Evans & Co." was between 1870 to 1916 and since the embossed envelope wasn't issued until 1893, the date of the example shown would be from 1893 to 1916.
