 here is a very boring piece of postal stationary for today.  here is a batvarian postcard that I think is from today... or is it the 18th?  that's the cancel close up I think I will probably be busy tomorrow, so here is my contrabution for the 13th  |

Thanks wt1. For most of the 19th century and into the 1900s Haverhill. MA was a world leader in the shoe industry. According to the city's official website, shoe manufacturing was Haverhill's leading industry for 180 years. |
