Two for July 14.
The Wollners got lots of mail that day in 1950.

Note the RFD (Rural Free Delivery) address on the first envelope.

But it looks as if they had to maintain two different households to do so...

For some reason I forgot to post these two on Friday, July 13th. The first is another mailed from Massacheusetts in 1896 and the second from St. Louis in 1944.

Tomiseksj: Thought you might be interested to see this ad in connection with the cover you scanned for July 14th as addressed to J.H. Winchell & Co., Haverhill, Mass., a large shoe manufacturer from back in the day:

I can also provide this biography of the Haverhill, Mass. cover addressed to M.L. Whitcomb, Esq., dated July 13, 1896. He was also affiliated with J.H. Winchell & Co.:

Thanks wt1. For most of the 19th century and into the 1900s Haverhill. MA was a world leader in the shoe industry. According to the city's official website, shoe manufacturing was Haverhill's leading industry for 180 years.
