I cant seem to find the country for these. and I wanted to share a few from the set, these in person are like tiny little pieces of wall art. scans don't do them justice.

Since the denomination shown on the stamps is "Yuan" and "Fen", the country is almost certainly China. Although I don't find the stamp designs in Scott, so they may be revenues or some type of official stamps. |

Hi Edwin, they're from Manchukuo, a nominally independent country in Manchuria in northeastern China that was set up by the Japanese after they occupied the region in 1931. |

Edwin, it would be excellent if you could change the thread topic to something like Manchukuo. They have popped up in queries about 8 times before here, without any thread dedicated to them. You could be the first ack: blair rcsd. |

Edwin, Do you know how to change your thread? Those are lovely, and yes, I think you should do as suggested and change your title. I hope I'll find some international stamps as pretty in my "mess". Go to your original post and click on the <edit icon> with the eraser. You can then, just change the topic, or whatever in (re) line. or add additional text to your first post. Unless you tell us what you actually have changed, (which most of those here do,) the change is not automatically differentiated in your post so later observers wouldn't alway see, or understand, the progression. |

One possibility for top left is Scott #115, which should perf 13.5 down the side(and which appears to match #97 to its right, which is also 13.5 down the side). I only looked at a Classic, so if there are other options past 1940, I wouldn't have seen them... |

sorry guys just logged back on, changed the title
maybe I should post individual pictures of each stamp I have in this group or would it be too much?
thanks for the ID's so you found them under Manchukuo? I was having the same problem as stamps2go.

That five-pointed star device at the top center of each stamp is referred to as the orchid crest, and is found on many, but not all, stamps of Manchukuo. |

Yep, Scott's Manchukuo section should stand you in good stead when you get around to these. The only one without the orchid crest is the White Pagoda.
Some good-looking cancels there. |
