About this stamp I found plenty of information, but only in Hungarian and Romanian stamp catalogues. An older French catalogue mentions it, but no other information (no picture, date of issue etc). So maybe it`ll be useful to some...
Validity:from 09.03. 1945-till 30.04.1945 (about 1 month!)
Local post, the former (Hungarian) Szilagy county, now `judetul Salaj`. The coat of arm is that of the former `Szilagy` county`s.
Denomination still Hungarian (pengo), the inscript (Posta Salajului) Romanian. Printed in Zalau (former Hungarian name:Zilah). No watermark. Between 12.02.1945-09.03.1945 the local post (posta Salajului) used overprints on Hungarian definitives (denomination+inscript `Posta Salajului`.
