Jim perhaps you're right but not in my lifetime.

East German stamps are a real dog in the stamp market. Nobody
wants them, not even the Germans.

I think there's a whiff of change already there, lithograving. Just out of curiosity I began monitoring GDR sales on ebay and I can definitely discern a sea change. Of course, I'm not talking about a big one, but nonetheless I think it's there.

(Makes note to self to do another review of ebay GDR sales soon.)
