I've tracked this as far a a Spanish Tax Stamp with a number 14482. I have no Scott cross reference and do not know what numbering system the 14482 belongs to. I got this in a large world stamp collection and was taken back by the envelope I found it in. Any thoughts.

I believe that is a stamp from the Spanish Civil War. They aren't listed in Scott. Some of the designs from Vinebre seems to get a handful of dollars at auction (I'm thinking of the ones with the allegorical figure of liberty).

[edit: Great link, Rod. Interesting reading on the number of stamps printed for a town of 700. This thread reminds me to look again for the Sofima catalogue of Spanish Civil War stamps.]

My dream is the Galvez catalogue Collin,
saving for it as we speak.
