The stamp shows a portrait of the composer Rudolf Josef Franz Benatzky, which later changed to his first name in Ralph. He was born on 5 June 1884 in Mährisch Budwitz.He pursued his musical interests and attended the Musikakademien in Prague and Munich, where the famous conductor Felix Mottl was one of his teachers.

Music instruments, designed by Czech graphic designer Rostislav Vanek, engraved by Vaclav Fajt, and issued by Czechoslovakia on May 11, 1984 to publicize Music Year, Scott No. 2512.

Here is an image of a stamp depicting a dzen-dzé, a traditional stringed music instrument, designed by Éric Lugan, combined engraved by Claude Andréotto and photogravure, and issued on May 31, 1997 for use in Mayotte, Scott No. 88.

Here is an image of a woman in a gorgeous traditional costume playing a Langspil, a traditional Icelandic drone zither, designed by Þröstur Magnússon, printed by photogravure, and issued by Iceland on May 3, 1985, Scott No. 606, Facit No. 669. Love the hat!
