On January 29, 1990 Hungary issued a two-stamp Telephone and Mailbox set. These stamps were issued as both sheet and coil stamps. Sheet stamps are perforated 12 and coils are perforated 14. Here is the 3 forint 'telephone' coil stamp (Sc # 3222) which shows an old, wall-mounted telephone.  |

This May 20, 1960 12 franc value (Sc #314) of New Caledonia is from the 'Centenary of the Post' set of three stamps. I'm not sure how the the P.T.T. (postal, telegraphic and telephone service,) 'figures' in the set, but the P.T.T. was initiated in France in 1879.  |

On August 20, 1979 Turkish Cyprus (the occupied and unrecognized northern area of the Republic of Cyprus) issued a three-stamp EUROPA set. The 8 lira value (Mi #73) of this set depicts telephones.  |

Here is the one dirham value (Sc #323) from Qatar's November 30, 1972 eight-stamp set commemorating U.N. Day (October 24, 1972). This value features Telecommunications (ITU) and shows a telephone.  |

This May 16, 1979 three penny value (Sc #382) of Gibraltar is from the communications-themed EUROPA set of three identically designed (but in different colors) stamps. Design shows a posthorn flanked by a satellite dish and an early telephone.  |

On July 30, 1988 Norfolk Island issued a set of three 37c values to commemorate the Sydpex '88 National Exhibition in Sydney, Australia. One of these stamps (Sc #439) shows a telephone.  |

This 4.50 shilling value (Sc #524) is from Kenya's July 121, 1990 four-stamp set commemorating the 125th anniversary of the International Telecommunication Union (UIT/ITU). Stamp depicts a worker assembling a piece of telecom equipment at the Gilgil Multipurpose Manufacturing Complex. From 1987 until the mid 90's, Kenya exported this equipment to the USA and Europe.  |
